When we talk about the Internet, we talk about sharing—sharing our photos, thoughts, links to interesting articles, and more. The Internet is as much about sharing others' content as it is about sharing our own.

A core aspect of the digital age is appropriation, recontextualization, and, simply put, copying. Retweeting, regramming, reblogging, re-everything. This constant resharing mirrors Duchamp's concept of the readymade or “objet trouvé” in the art world.

The content, whether properly credited or not, becomes part of a larger, interconnected web, stripped of its original context and repurposed for new audiences.
